Bio

Dr. Dandrea completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of West Florida. In 2011, she graduated with her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston in Texas. Her training in the United States includes experience from outpatient clinics, a psychiatric hospital, Veteran's Affairs Medical Center, and a residential facility for people with developmental disabilities.

Dr. Dandrea returned to beautiful British Columbia in 2013 and loves being back on the west coast! She is registered with the College of Psychologists of BC. She has been in private practice since 2014 in Powell River. Prior to private practice, she taught Abnormal Psychology at the College of New Caledonia in Prince George and Child Development during her time at the University of Houston.

Catholicism has always been the source and summit of her personal life. She had the honor of meeting Mother Angelica twice at the EWTN studio during her time in the US and will never forget those experiences. She strongly believes that faith and science mutually inform one another and are not mutually exclusive, as pop culture tries to make us believe.
