Bio

Hello! I'm Lorna, a newly registered social worker. I completed my two graduate degrees while having babies, and I finished my MSW and registration during the pandemic, so I know how to adapt and be flexible while getting the work done. My children are 6, 4, and 3 years old. I live in Maple Ridge and attend St. Patrick's parish where I sing for Sunday Mass and in the Chamber Choir for Christmas and Easter services. I also have given mental wellness presentations at the elementary school for parents. I attended Immaculate Conception Elementary in Delta, and Little Flower Academy for high school. I was a parish youth coordinator in Terrace, B.C. (Sacred Heart). I am looking for ways to marry my faith-based lens with the secular training and expertise I have received.
