Infertility
We all have a vision from our childhood as to how our life will play out: for some, it is finding that one great love, getting married, and starting a family. But then, for reasons we cannot explain, things don’t work out that way. Perhaps we find we are having difficulty conceiving a child, or we have miscarried — maybe multiple times — or we’ve suffered the loss of an infant or child.
We find ourselves suffering deeply. We may feel “less than”. We find ourselves on a difficult and lonely path. We may feel angry — even angry at God — or jealous of others who seem to have no difficulty starting and raising a family.
The Archdiocese of Vancouver wants you to know: you are seen, you are important, and we care about you. Despite your trials, you are still a family.
